Basic Office Organization for Your Dental Practice

Medical staffProper organization of your dental practice involves making sure that you and your dental employees are well-trained on how to effectively and efficiently process the following:

  • New Patients
  • Recurring Patients
  • Emergency Patients

If you don’t believe that your dental practice is well-organized or able to effectively process the above, you may be in need of a reorganization. Once you’ve found the weak links in your training, you’ll be able to strengthen them through training for both yourself and your staff members. There are a few common weak links, including:

  • Processing New Patients
  • New Patient Phone Calls
  • Patient Retention
  • Scheduling
  • Financial Arrangement

There may be a few functions that aren’t being done such as quality control of employees or proper morning huddles. It’s also important to make sure that specific jobs are assigned to specific staff members so that there is accountability in your office.

Here at Dental Insurance Credentialing, we know that part of getting organized is receiving help with your insurance credentialing needs. Please contact us today for more information!
