Do Your Patients Engage with Your Emails?

It can be frustrating for dentists and other business owners when clients and customers aren’t responding to or engaging with marketing efforts. You may write an article, send out an email campaign, or post on social media just for nothing to come of it.

There are several reasons this may be happening. Either you’re using incorrect channels, your message is a little off, or you’re not following best practices. This is usually the case when it comes to email marketing especially.

Increasing Patient Engagement

When you’re writing an email to a friend, it’s a simple as writing the email and pressing send! However, when you’re marketing to your dental patients, there are a few more things to consider first. Ask yourself these questions before sending an email to your dental patients: 

  • Are your subject lines enticing enough for patients to click on them?
  • Is your content concise, browsable, and easy to read on many devices?
  • Does your content include a clear call-to-action regarding dental care?

If the answer to any of these questions is “no,” you may have found your problem! Luckily, there are plenty of opportunities to bring in new patients with a properly-executed email marketing campaign. Announce an upcoming event, offer discounts or specials, or start up a contest or prize to offer those who book appointments for cleanings.
