  • Population/Prospect Of Growth – The most important thing you can do before expanding is to study the growth estimates and the current population of the areas you may be considering. This can help you make a concrete decision about the location of a second practice.

  • Possible Competition – It’s incredibly important to have a marketing plan in place for a new practice. Once patients are comfortable with a dentist in their area, it may be difficult to persuade them to visit your office instead. You should have a solid marketing strategy in place before you ever open the doors of your new location.
