Tips on Successfully Marketing Your Dental Practice

Mans hnad with graphicsIt can be difficult to know how to bring in enough patients to make sure that your dental practice continues to be successful. It can also be difficult to put together a marketing plan on your own, while also trying to run your dental practice, care for patients, and deal with staff issues.

Simple Tips for Marketing Your Dental Practice

Luckily there are a few simple and easy ways to draw in new patients. These include:

  • Social Media – If you don’t already have social media pages for your website, we recommend you set them up. These pages should include a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and an Instagram account. Having social media for your practice will allow you to more easily communicate with your patients, as well as allow them to ask questions, voice concerns, or leave reviews.
  • Updating Your Website – When looking at your current dental website, there are a few things you need to ask yourself. These include:
    • Has your website been updated in the last 3-5 years?
    • Is your website user-friendly?
    • Do you have a clear mission statement or call-to-action?
    • Does your website design appeal to your target audience?

If the answers to the above questions are “no,” then you may want to look into updating your website.

  • Start a Blog – Starting a dental blog on your website will not only draw more patients to the site (thanks to SEO!) but can also allow you to share knowledge with your patients and showcase your expertise. Blogging is the best way to be consistently adding new content to your dental website, which can improve search engine rankings. It’s also a great way to let your patients get to know you!
